Special education teachers are fundamental to the development of special education. The China Disabled Persons' Federation, together with the Ministry of Education and the Bank of Communication has established an award for the special education teachers, which affirms not only the dedicated and enterprising teachers in special education but also the magnificent achievements in Chinese education for people with disabilities in recent years.
